With North Star Elementary Students (Partnership with Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids™ program).

Today, the 2^nd grade class prepared the soil; K & 1 will seed the beds later. The garden work was tied in with the children’s science curriculum from soil prep, planting and watering to the harvest of fall vegetables during the first week of November. Every kid in the school has a job in the garden to contribute to the success of the program. The whole school is fed with the bountiful harvest.
