Some of our garden club members are in action to taking care of the kitchen garden at Tweed’s Tavern and decorating the Tavern and Museum for the holidays.
Another Holiday volunteer opportunity Countryside participates in is the Festival of Trees that benefits Delaware Hospice. Our 2025 tree theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Everyone contributed to making the ornaments.
Our fall volunteer opportunity is participating in the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition A Walk for the Cure by staffing the survivors tent Bee-lieve in a Cure. Small plants were given away to any participant.

Please join us for the Annual Red Clay Valley Clean Up day on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 8:00 AM. Volunteers assemble at Ashland Nature Center. We will be cleaning Brackenville Road in Hockessin between Rt. 41 and Rt. 82.
