I had this cactus about 4 years. It developed 3 unusual looking bumps on its top surface earlier this summer, The bumps contnued to grow each getting as big as the smallest digit of my ring finger. The plant it on the railing of my deck where I observed it every day, with no apparent blooming taking place. Then, all of the sudden late in the morning two days ago, two the bumpb were in full bloom. A day or two later, the third bump opened up. So far, the blooms are still in full blooms. I did bring the plant inside today because tonight the temp is suppose to go down to about 45 degrees, a little too cool for the cactus I believe.
