“Mt. Cuba Garden Tour & Picnic” & Election of Officers

Program: We’re sure to find buzzing pollinators among the native perennials and shrubs in full bloom in the newly redesigned South Garden opened in 2016. Plants chosen for this garden had to be drought and heat tolerant, something we’re all thinking about after the hot, dry summer of 2016. Bring a notebook along to jot down those native plants to add to our gardens to attract more pollinators and improve our ecosystems on the local level. Over a brown-bag lunch in the picnic grove, we’ll have a short business meeting to elect our 2017-19 officers from the slate presented last month.
