Program: Have you noticed those Scenic Byway signs
on our local roads around Hockessin? Ginger North, Chair of the Red Clay Valley Scenic Byway Alliance will explain how this designation recognizes and protects natural, historical and scenic assets of our community. We will discover how we can help the byway partners protect and improve not only scenic views and historic features but also the water quality of the Red Clay Creek which flows through the byway. As Associate Director for the Natural Resources Conservation for The Delaware Nature Society, our speaker will surely raise our awareness and appreciation today of these important environmental issues.
